My Hobbies

Tennis
I have played tennis since 6th grade. I started out with the once a week beginner classes and then moved on to play for my middle school team in 7th grade. That's when I started to really improve and I even got varsity experience my first year playing. The next year, I was the #2 singles varsity player as an 8th grader.  I had a very successful year including winning against Noblesville West and Carmel.  I finished with a winning record of 12-7 which I was happy with considering I hadn't played for very long. Playing middle school tennis really gave me the confidence to continue working hard at the sport, so I played every week day in the summer and played in winter tournaments. I am now a freshman anxiously waiting for my first season to start in the spring. I am so excited and I look forward to playing for a team again.

Here are some pictures that my good friend Isabel Lintner took of me at my last tournament.

3D Art

I have just started Intro to 3D Art. So far I really enjoy it and I think it's a lot of fun. I don't feel like I'm very creative so it's hard to come up with things especially when we have to capture voice. Even though I'm not very good at it, I work my way around those problems and just enjoy it. So far I have created a paper sculpture and a cardboard sculpture. I'll show you how my paper sculpture turned out below.

2D Art

I recently finished Introduction to 2D Art with Mr. Scheele. Personally, I was not a fan of the type of work we did but I did enjoy learning different techniques.  My favorite part of the class was water color and below I have a picture of one of my pieces. Honestly, that is the only piece I am okay with how it turned out.  It still could've had more detail and if I had more time, I definitely would've made it better. Overall, 2D Art was not my favorite but I am very glad I experienced it because I learned a lot. I look forward to see where 3D Art takes me.
